Three recent drawings. The first (above) is my sister
in line. The next is Manny...thinking about working on it
some more. The last is a commission I did before
Christmas. Actually had someone come to the
studio to do a full body portrait for his wife.

I love the devilish grin on Al's face in this one.

The light on Kelsey was too good to be true here.

A rather classical page of Al.

My sister. With this pose, I wasn't paying close attention to her...as I was fascinated with the blanket and her hand...she actually nearly passed out from standing still for so long (and it was warm in the room) and I didn't notice! She started to swerve a little and someone in the room had to throw something at me to get my attention. I won't be forgiven any time soon!!!

This is Joe. A guy I met at a bike shop and actually got up the courage to ask him to pose for me. He finally consented after a few emails. This is the first of many drawings I hope. Sometimes I can just tell that someone would be great to draw. He is.

An ironworker, this model was extremely limber. This drawing is more in line with how I see the figure these days. But its always changing.

Detail of Krista and her robe...a very soft light blue silk.

This is on matboard with a sanguine pencil. Love how the pencil glows on the green. Cream pencil for highlights.

Kelsey

A few overlapping gestures of Kelsey...a new model with a very limber physique.
